The association awaits the professionals with presentation titled “Packaging industry in the service of food industry – new requirements and solutions“.

The food industry is the most important market for the packaging industry and, conversely, the packaging industry is one of the most important suppliers in the food industry.

A number of European directives in the field of packaging have changed recently, the transposition of which into Hungarian law is on the agenda. However, these changes bring changes not only in the legislation but also in the day-to-day design and technology practices. Therefore, participants in the program will have a presentation on sustainable packaging design for the circular economy.

The principles of sustainability are served by high-quality packaging with advanced technology that is unimaginable without packaging machines, especially when these machines also meet the requirements of Industry 4.0.

The production of packaging materials made with digital printing can be considered as quite modern technology in Hungary. The novelty of the process may be briefly described as just as much, as much as needed, and in as many variations as the designer, marketer, or merchant dreamed of.
